A photographer, wildlife activist and big cats aficionado who travels around the world to photograph big cats and primates in their natural habitat and study their behavior.

The population of big cats has been dwindling over the past few decades due to climate change, unsustainable urbanization, exploding human population and poaching. Wesam hopes that his work will remind people of how important it is to protect the top predators.

For years, Wesam travelled across Asia and Africa looking for leopards, tigers, lions and wild cats including cheetahs. As a result, Wesam has developed a solid understanding of the behavior of big cats and the challenges they face, and he believes that protecting them is very important for the eco system.
